Project Overview

KIOSK is an innovative marketplace designed to connect customers with skilled technicians for various jobs, including electricians, plumbers, beauticians, and more. With a user-friendly portal, KIOSK allows customers to find and hire professionals with just one click. Planet01 developed two dedicated applications—one for customers and another for agents—streamlining the entire process from job request to completion.

The Challenge

KIOSK aimed to create a seamless platform that simplifies the process of finding and hiring technicians. The challenge was to develop an efficient system that manages both customer requests and agent assignments while ensuring a smooth user experience. Additionally, the platform needed to incorporate a vetting and verification process for agents, making sure that only qualified professionals are available to customers.

Our Solution

Planet01 developed two applications for KIOSK using Swift for iOS and Kibana for data visualization. The customer app allows users to easily request jobs and track the status of their orders, while the agent app facilitates job assignments and completion. Agents can sign up, undergo a vetting process, receive five free jobs, and then purchase additional job slots from the portal. This dual-app approach enhances communication between customers and agents, ensuring efficient service delivery.
